Why did my job not run when it was scheduled?
The most common reasons a script will not run as scheduled is due to script errors or timeout issues. Make sure you use the 'Test' link when you schedule a job just to make sure the script is working properly and that you have typed the url correctly.

Also if a script takes longer than 40 mins to exectue it will always fail.

Be sure you use the email on success and email on failure options when you first schedule a script just to make your self feel doubly comfortable that it is running correctly.

2. Is there a limit to the amount of jobs I can schedule?

There is a limit of 25 jobs which is more than enough for the majority of our clients. If you have a requirement to run more you may wish to consider a VPS or shared hosting account.
